MYVLF 2019 Book Blogger Awards @MyVLF #BookBloggers #BookBloggerAwards #Virtual LiteraryFestival

The finalists have been announced in the MyVLF Book Blogger Awards and I’m delighted to say that I’ve made the shortlist in the Best Book Blogger category. It is an honour to even be nominated, but to make the final is immense. I’m in exalted company and while it would be amazing to get your vote, I know you’ll have other favourites among those nominated.

In addition to Best Book Blogger there are also two further categories, Best Supportive Book Blogger and Best Book Influencer. The choice of who to vote for won’t be easy as there are many favourite blogs and blogging friends competing against each other.

If you haven’t heard of MyVLF it stands for My Virtual Literary Festival. It’s the brainchild of the Blonde Plotters – aka authors Gwyn GB, Kelly Clayton and Deborah Carr. It was born out of a love of books and the desire to connect readers and authors without the need to travel or spend a fortune attending a literary event.  Readers as well as writers, they, like us, want access to the best fiction available and to find new authors. In founding MYVLF they wanted to create a cosy, welcoming online space where you could see and hear your favourite authors and ask them questions – and stay in your pyjamas – a place with free books and giveaways and a community of readers. You can find them online here

The next Literary Festival is scheduled for 23rd November and it has a fabulous line up including Liz Earle, Rachel Abbott, Mark Billingham, Fiona Valpy, Sheila O’Flanagan, Carmel Harrington, Craig Martelle and Bella Andre. The results of the Book Blogger Awards will also be announced as part of the festival.
