Last month I uttered the words “miraculously this month I managed to rein in on the book buying. I’d like to think that this might be a sign of things to come” – it wasn’t!! Book buying back with a vengeance this month, though in my defense (not that I really need to justify it) I did treat myself a little bit for Christmas in advance of the monetary gifts that normally come my way. So as there’s lot’s to get through best crack on!

So that was my month. A lot of lovely books added to the reading list and a good reading tally for me. Given my concentration levels I set my Goodreads challenge at 40 books this year. As I write this I’ve read 47, definitely helped by my splurge of festive reads. It all augers well for next year, which is just as well given the number of books I buy!
